Polymer Products

Rubber Industries

Ethylene Propylene Dyne Methylene (EPDM)

EPDM rubbers are amorphous terpolymers. This polymer have a good heat process stability. Because of their structure and composition, EPDM polymers are also resistant to ozone and weathering. The compounds are generally suitable for severe outdoor or high ozone applications without the need for anti-oxidants. they are used in inner tubes to improve low temperature properties, ageing, and processing characteristics.

Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR)

SBR is the largest-volume elastomer. It is a highly random copolymer of butadiene and 10 to 25 percent styrene. The addition of styrene improves the strength and abrasion resistance, reduces the price, and often improves the compatibiltiy with other materials in blends. SBR have excellent resistance to brake fluids and good aging stability when protected by additives.

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR)

NBR is a syntetic rubber that has good resistance to oil, fuel, and other chemicals, but is not resistant to weathering and ozone. The higher the nitrile content, the greater the resistance to oils but the lower the flexibility. Commonly used in automotive industries, gasket, oil seal, o-ring, engine hoses and other parts

Isoprene Rubber (IR)

IR widely-used commercial rubber. It is either harvested in the form of latex from rubber trees (NR) or synthetically produced by polymerization of 1-methyl-1,3-butadiene (IR). polyisoprene have good fatigue resistance and are, therefore, an excellent choice for dynamic applications at low and ambient temperatures. Their elasticity, compression set, creep and abrasion resistance is excellent over their working temperature range. isoprene have poor resistance to ozone, gasoline and many organic solvents.

Solution SBR (SSBR)

A type of SBR with special type of molecular structure. With good processability and dynamic properties. Used for high-performance and fuel-efficient tires.

Butyl Rubber (IIR)

IIR is a copolymer of isobutylene and small amounts of isoprene, which provide the unsaturated sites for vulcanization. It has unusually low gas permeability and outstanding resistance to UV, oxygen and ozone attack. Due to the low content of unsaturated bonds, it also has excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability. Commonly used for inner tubes.

Bromobutyl (BIIR)

BIIR is a copolymer of isobutylene and small amounts of brominated isoprene which provides unsaturated sites for vulcanization. This elastomer has many of the attributes of butyl rubber, including low gas and moisture permeability, good vibration damping, low glass transition temperature, excellent resistance to ageing and weathering, and wide vulcanization versatility. The most widely used rubbers for inner tubes of bicycles, trucks as well as industrial and agricultural tireshoses, seals, membranes, tank linings, special purpose conveyor belts, engine mounts, etc.

Chlorobutyl Rubber (CIIR)

CIIR is copolymer of chlorinated isobutylene and small amounts of isoprene which provides unsaturated sites for vulcanization. the chlorinated sites are more reactive, providing faster cure with lower amount of curatives and better adhesion to unsaturated rubbers and metals. Because of its excellent weather and ozone resistance, and improved chemical resistance, chlorobutyl is an excellent choice for rubber articles needing good resistance to chemicals, weathering and ozone such as tank linings, special purpose conveyor belts and protective clothing.

Chemical Products

Rubber Industries

Accelerator

Accelerator are necessary ingredient of all sulfur curing system. They increase curing ratio and efficiency of the sulfur bonding to rubber macromolleculs in form of cross link. They significantly reduce time needed for vulcanization, they allow reducing the vulcanization temperatures and sulfur content in rubber compounds.

Activator

Activators are chemicals used to activate the action of accelerators. These materials reduce the vulcanization time (cure time) by increasing the rate of vulcanization.

Antidegradant

Antidegradant is a protectitive agent for polymer by slowing down the process of aging or degradation on exposure to the degradative environment such as : storage aging, oxygen, heat, uv light & weathering, ozone , etc.

Antioxidant

Antioxidant is used to protect the polymers from degradation that is caused by oxygen.

Antiozonant

Antiozonant is chemical product that prevent damage caused by ozone.

Peptizing Agent

Additives in the rubber industry that facilitate rubber mastication / plasticization and significantly shorten the time of plastification to achieve energy savings and increase the capacity of the processing equipment. They are very effective especially in natural rubber and do not affect the course of vulcanization and the properties of vulcanizates.

Plasticizer

Plasticizer is necessary in rubber formulations for improving the processing of the rubber by lowering the compound's viscosity, and also for aiding in low temperature flexibility of the formulated rubber.

Processing Aid

An ingredient that speed up the rate of polymer breakdown. It also helps to disperse the other compounding ingredients. Adding Processing aid in compounding process can adjust the compound cost and reduce powerconsumption during processing.

Retarders

Retarders can reduce the curing rate in the main phase of the vulcanization, they can increase processing safety of the compounds.

Rubber Processing Oil

Rubber processing oil are used during the mixing of rubber compound. It can be natural or syntetic oil. These help in improving the dispersion of filler and flow characteristic of the compound. There are 3 types of Rubber processing oil that commonly used for production : aromatic base, paraffinic base, naphtenic base.

Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is used as a filler in rubber compounding process that can improve the stifness of polymers. Beside improve the stifness of polymers, it also helps reducing the cost of production material.

Silica

Silica is used as a reinforcing filler in rubber compounding process that can improve the stifness of polymers. Beside improve the stifness of polymers, it also helps reducing the cost of production material. Usually silica is used with carbon black as reinforcing filler for rubber compound.

Zinc Oxide

Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is an activator for the sulfur vulcanization of rubbers enhances the vulcanization efficiency and vulcanizate properties and reduces the vulcanization time.
