Lubricants reduce friction during processing. Internal lubricants improve polymer chain mobility, while external lubricants reduce friction between the polymer and processing equipment.
Used in nearly all plastic processing, especially PVC. Wax-based lubricants also improve surface finish and release properties. They enhance productivity and reduce wear on machinery.
